Lots of exciting things happening at CDKC.
- Our next race meeting is Sunday March 25, Round 2 of the CDKC Club Championship. For this meeting our Canteen coordinator, Mandi is away. We will need a coupe of volunteers to help run the Canteen on the 25th.
- 2 projects we are planning for the circuit are
- Upgrades to the weight and tech area of the in grid
- Replacement of the timing and start towers with a race control centre.
For these projects to proceed we need some club members to Champion one or both of the projects, the committee has a vision of what we need but does not have the time to add these jobs to the current workload. If this is an area you have an interest or some expertise and would like to help improve the facility please let Russell know [email protected].
We also have round 3 of the NSW State Championships at Lithgow September 29 to 30. We will need 10 to 15 extra helpers for this event to make it a success, so if you are not running this meeting and would like to see first hand State level competition this is a great opportunity. We will also be offering practice day vouchers to club volunteers for the State titles, so you can save yourself some money on practice.
