Update 23.03.17. The weather just has not let up. Downer have been able to complete 2 days of work since Friday March 10. Crack sealing and several patch repairs have been completed and the surface is now ready for re sealing, this is scheduled for Monday March 27 and will take 2 days (weather permitting!!!)

Apologies for things being a bit quite here over the last few weeks. The track work has started but was bit late getting going. If all goes to plan below we will still be ready to re open the weekend of March 25/26.

We will need lots of help over the next couple of weeks to get things back in shape ready for practice and racing but I can not give exact details until we see how progress and weather go this week.

• Downer started work last Friday (March 10) with crack sealing and prep work.
• Monday 13th March Downer will repair a the sections of track that needed repair before new surface.
• Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th Downer will lay new surface
• Thursday 16th Concrete contractor to start new ripple strips. This work will take about a week

If the track resurface work is complete this week we can start line marking work next weekend 18/19 and lots of helpers will make this job easy. I will update as work progresses this week.

I am sure there will be lots of other tidy up jobs that will need doing that go along with any construction job.

We also have some electrical repairs that need to be done around the track so if you are an electrician and can help please let me know.
